Movies In Development

Chuck has become notorious now for pretty much having all of his books not only optioned by movie studios or production companies... but for them also being in some stage of development or limbo.

Who would like to see a movie version of Lullaby

I mean Helen is such a great part for any actress, and the others are amazing as well. What are your ideas.

Christine Ebersole as Helen
Jennifer Damiano as Mona

RANT

Besides everything you read about Rant becoming a movie, what are the chances it will become one? that's all i want to know, Rant was the best book i ever read, first palahnuik book i ever read, and my thought after reading it was..."there's a guy out there who thinks how i draw and joke"

iggy as saint gut-free in Haunted

i think iggy pop is saint gut-free.

who should play the other characters?

Haunted! The Movie!

anyone who has read watchmen should see why haunted should never be made in to a movie. of course, any who has read haunted should see why not too. like watchmen, haunted is a book choc-full of information. the question is, what are the people who are making this film gonna class as omitable?(dunno if i spell omitable wrong but you know what i mean hopefully) regardless of the graphic content, if things are gonna be cut then it's gonna be for time as well as the graphic content. some people say it would make a great series and i agree but let's be realistic, guts on tv? exoddus on tv? fans would be lucky enough to see those stories on the big screen depending how you look at it.

Kate Winslet should play Misty Wilmot

that's who I imagined.

Cast for Rant?

I was thinking about who could play as the cast for a Rant movie, and this is what I came up with.

Rant:

Jack White

Echo Lawrence:

Lizzy Caplan (shown left)

Shot Dunyun:

Micheal Massee

Any other ideas?

Invisible Monsters

Has anyone heard of the film adaptation to be made of Invisible Monsters? I don't know much, except that Jessica Biel is supposed to play Shannon/Brandy. Any other info?

Haunted by Koen Mortier

Finally tracked down a copy of Ex-Drummer, Koen Mortier's 2007 flick and a big reason he's been tapped to make Haunted.

Not only is Ex-Drummer brilliantly made, it's probably even more disgusting and disturbing than Haunted. This man was born to make a Chuck P. movie.

Don't you think the films murder the books value?

I was thinking (dangerous i know)... but don't you think turning the novels into movies kills the value the books have?

It bothers me that these great books are being made into shit films... with the exception of Fight Club i guess, because that film got me into Chuck...
But generally, it destroys them, in my oppinion...

Anyone share my views?

Haunted poster I made.

I took the pic off the website and added the letters.
Its not anything special, took me bout 4 min to make. I don't know how this movie will go through though...
