Fan Artwork: Fight Club, Snuff & Pygmy Dust Jackets

Over the years we've received some great Chuck Palahniuk inspired artwork from fans. Banners, portraits, and of course book covers. But it's the fans that go the extra mile and actually design the entire dust jacket of their favorite Palahniuk book, that light me up. Here are three by Ben Perry, as well as an explanation from the designer below.

Poland continues to shine with some of the most original and interesting covers for Chuck's books. This time, we actually had the nice people who publish these editions contact us. Apparently they saw my previous post, highlighting their designs, and wanted to inform us of this latest release for Pygmy.

Continuing our trend from last week of showcasing some of the coolest international Chuck Palahniuk covers, let's take a look at some of the recent selections from Italy. In my opinion, Italy has long had some of the more stylish and unique covers for Chuck's books. Unlike a lot of other countries who just use a slight variation of the U.S. cover, Italy's usually stand out on their own. I'll even forgive them for mucking up my dedication in Lullaby, seen here as 'Tennis Widmyer.' Sighs.

Blackstone Audio Is Giving Away Free 'Pygmy' iPhone Audiobook Apps!

You might have noticed the past week that we have an awesome banner in our leaderboard position for an Pygmy iPhone audiobook app from Blackstone Audio. Blackstone is revolutioning the way people can now listen to audiobooks on their iPhones. They plan to release a number of Chuck's books as audiobook apps.

Anyway, to help promote the audiobook, Blackstone is letting us give away 10 ten promotional codes (free redemption) for the iPhone app. But you'll have to be a follower on our Twitter page @chuckpalahniuk to play. Yesterday, we picked our first two winners. Today, the rules have changed.

Today's Homework Assignment: Take a photo (Twitpic, etc) of yourself "wearing" your favorite Chuck Palahniuk item, memorbilia or swag and Tweet it with the tag #PygmyApp. We will then select the two best pics of the day and announce them tomorrow morning. Pygmy Debuts At #3 On The NY Times Best Seller List!

Wow. Chuck has hit a homerun with his latest novel "Pygmy". It just debuted at #3 on The New York Times Best Seller List. I think this might be an all-time high for a Palahniuk release. (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

All of you deserve a big round of applause for coming out and supporting Chuck, like you always do. It was all the purchases of the hardcover of "Pygmy" that led to this awesome achievement.

Chuck Palahniuk On Canadian Talk Show "The Hour"

As is his custom when visiting Canada for book tour, Chuck Palahniuk will be on the popular late night talk show "The Hour" with George Stroumboulopoulos (takes a breath after spelling that one). The show was recorded last week and was originally set to air Monday May 11th, but was delayed last minute due to the Hockey playoffs up there. The new details for Chuck's appearance on the show are:
