Morning Glories
Has anyone else read any of these?
I burned through the first 16 of them last night. It's got some great "Oh shit!" moments. But if they don't start getting into something, anything, of the overall mystery behind it soon, rather than just nothing but character stories, I'm gonna run the bunch of 'em up a tree!
The Depressed Lil boy
Anyone read the "depressed lil boy" comics? I'm not a big comic reader, but they stood out, it's an entertaining series.
Newly Launched WEBCOMIC!
What's up people! I wanted to share with you guys a webcomic I created called Spartan Buddha. It's partly philosophical and sarcastic and I thought you guys might enjoy it. Or hate it. I dunno. I'm not a psychic.

Graphic Novel Adaptations
Does anyone know anything about the adaptations of Invisible Monsters and Lullaby? I understand they used to be on the site a while ago and then they weren't. Is there a way to get those if not here then on another site? I would really love to check them out given that those are two my favorite books by Chuck.
Same Cops in Every Background
What do you guys think of this? I think it's weird...

Writing Comics?
I'm thinking about getting into comic writing. Problem is, I don't know thing one about writing for comics so I'm hoping someone here does.
So, first question: Is a comic script a lot like a film script? I've seen a couple of comic scripts and they're kind of like film scripts. But I've also seen other scripts that a nothing but long descriptive paragraphs. It's hard to find a common thread between them.
By the way, if anybody knows of any books on comic writing, I'm all ears. All the books I've seen assume you know how to draw and is always really more about that side of creating comics then the actual writing, telling you how to format your pages and whatnot. Since I don't know how to draw, those book are pretty useless to me.
Phineas Poe Comic
Once upon a time, this was available for download free online. Now, I can't find it. Any suggestions?
The Walking Dead
I figure with the tv show now, might as well start up a thread for the comic so things can be kept separate and hopefully spoiler free from one another.
Anyways, I'm up to issue 51 now. Just jaw-dropping, some of these issues are! I can't remember a comic I've ever read, where I've gotten so emotionally involved with the characters in such a short period of time.
Maybe it's because of the looming threat that anyone can die that does it, I don't know.
Even when they switched artists, I hated that Adlard guys work so much at first, but now, after 40+ issues of him doing it, i think he's finally caught his stride. All the characters look distinct from each other and show some real emotion on their faces and body language. read more »
