Anthology Project

I have a question about this project: to be considered, must you submit in the homework area or the self assignment area, or does it matter?

I'd really like to put some stuff on the site that can be considered.

Printing the essays

Hi,

I've just signed up for the essays and wanted to read them all from number one, so was intending to print them off. But it seems that they are set up in such a way that they cannot be copied and pasted into word, which is a nuisance. Other than a screen dump, does anyone know if there is a way of printing or exporting them?

Thanks

Chris

Chuck's Essay Re-caps?

I seem to remember Vig had made a re-cap section about the essays, that was on the old site. I've been browsing around here but can't seem to find them. Does anyone have a link? Thanks in advance.

sign your stories, in fact, format the page like youre going to submit it for publication wouldnt hurt either..

.

.

hey, yaw. hopefully i'll catch a few eyes here

im going through several workshopsubmissions, trying to print pages (i cant for critique read manuscripts off the screen)

there are a number of submissions that don't have names attached to them. literally, i have no idea whose stories some of them are..

if there is a fluke and submissions go through without names, which seems to be happening, please at least sign the pages you submit. give it a header, name and title (and even approx wordcount, which some of us started doing later on and is a nice addition)

here's an example of how to format your pages for workshopping:

http://chuckpalahniuk.net/workshop/read?type=t&id=437

hopefully that link ^^^^ will work for everyone

if not, i'll quickly write out an example:

Family L O V E

/!\ Topic for the french ones -> Traduction des "essays" en français

Salut.

Essay 25 Killing Time: Part One

The chuckshop is back!

I really loved reading this essay. I think for the ones who already know all the previous 24 esays, a lot sounds familiar. But the new approach from pacing the plot is really fantastic. I loved it. It creates so much more depth to the stuff chuck already taught us.

I especially liked the different textures of narrative.

I just started this thread to jumpstart the workshop. How did you all feel about the new essay?
