I like it for the same reason i found Stranger than Fiction to be a fascinating read. It's just raw, fun writing without any experimental styles (Pygmy was my least favorite of his) or ego. Anyone that's exhausted Chuck's fiction should pick this up. You've come this far.. buy it to complete the set! I found it at an obscurely located Borders.

should i buy this ?

My dad lives in Portland and knows I'm a huge Chuck fan when I told him that Fugitives was a book about OR he suggested that I give it to him for Christmas, so tell me is this a crazy idea? My dad is in his early 40's and pretty cool but I'm not sure if he would appreciate chuck's style, any thoughts?

I had read the book Fugitives and Refugees a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to watch the Music video that chuck appeared in when he was younger, but I returned the book to the library and I cant remember what the band or the song was called and the local library doesn't have the book anymore so can anyone tell me the name of the band or the song?

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Chuck P. fan. I respect the guy, no other author comes close as far as I'm concerned.

Now, I'm a bit confused with Fugitives and Refugees. I'm in Louisiana and I couldn't care less about the places to go in Portland. read more »

so i went to get fugitives and refugees yesterday (belated because im an idiot) and it took me about 20 minutes to find it. maybe its just me, but when there is a table that says "new books" i would imagine that chuck's new book would be right ther read more »
