¿How many people tender killed?
it is commented neas the beggining about the suicide hotline and that he does it for a while, ¿how many people do you say (or know) that he killed during all of the novel?
And, obviously, if he were caught by police for the hotline. ¿would they have jailed him for murder or other legal figure?
If his life did not have any meaning (in the middle of the novel when he's with the agent) why he always keep on postponing his plans to kill himself?
Something about the ending... ***SPOILERS***
I read all of survivor (more of heard it in an audiobook actually) and while i'm aware of the "Secret ending" (that he pre-records the last 10 minutes then parachutes) what i don't understand is: ¿how does that works for him?
i've always thought that he is actually narrating to the end (since even if they are very similar, and i think that was the point, chapter 47 and 1 are different in some areas)
and in which moment of the hijacking did he had time to record the non-black box tape?
¿was it when he was threatening the passengers with the gun or after the pilot jumped?
¿how recording the tape would have been different?
(i take he recorded the tape and spoke on the black box all while the plane was on the "Terminal Descent").
Kindle edition of Survivor???
Why is Survivor the only Palahniuk book that doesnt have a kindle edition?? I wanted to buy it on Kindle and re-read it but they dont have it>
Quick Question
I kinda don't enjoy not searching for the question, but I figured I'd probably come across some spoilers like I've done with Rant and am still trying to forget before reading.
But having read a few Chuck books before, would it be safe to say I could just go ahead and read this book backwards? Instead of starting at chapter 44?
Jemaine Clement is who i picture as tender branson
when i read Survivor i cant help but picture Jemaine Clementas tender,i think he would be a good choice for a film adaptation.
Survivor Monologue
Hi everyone,
I am in speech and I fell in love with chuck's fight club last year, so I tried to dramatically interpret it and won state the championships. Over the summer I read survivor and something told me (gut instinct) that Survivor would be my next script! The rules of a Dramatic interp. are basically that its got to be shorter than 10 minutes, got to be cut from a book and it's pretty much a monologue.
here is a fine example of a dramatic piece: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8UoErPgi2U
Basically you have to cut out sections of the book and perform the monologue- it cant stray away from the plot or point of the book. read more »
