Harry Crews
Someone posted on the old CP.net message board that Chuck was, "Harry Crews Lite." While that's debatable, what you can't argue with it the fact that topics Crews touches upon are similar to Chuck's, and yet at times dirtier, darker, and more keyed into the extreme atrocities of the other side of the tracks.
