Hello all you fellow Mayhem Advocates. First of all, being as how this is my first post on this site, i would like to thank Chuck for giving me the gift of enlightenment. so THANK YOU CHUCK!!!!!!!

second, in an attempt of sharing the gift of enlightenment, I am very interested in re-enstating project mayhem.
As an anarchist I am always looking for various ways of putting an end to this condo-loving society. I may sound like a broken record of all the other people who say they want to give their worldly possessions and their lives to an ideal of which they do not understand.

But I have been constructing a list of goals over the years and devoting my life to acheiving them. And I, just as Mr. Durden did, need somewhat of an "army". By that I simply mean a group of people who share in the beleifs I am so passionately devoted to.

Maybe I am looking in the wrong place. Maybe this is a group of people totally devoted to the skill of the way the book was written, rather than the content. I am the latter.

Not a week goes by that i do not watch the movie 3 times or a month i dont read it once. hitting bottom is goal #1 on my agenda.

I refuse to have a job i hate so i can buy $h1t i dont need. i refuse to beleive that we are condemed to become the all singing all dancing crap of the world.

please email me @ HappyTimeHarry@cableone.net . i will accept cirticisms as well as fellow space monkeys messages. Just as long as i know that i am not alone.

I just want to clarify that i would have eventually through deep thought and meditation realized this anarchistic agenda is paramount, but Fight Club puts it into a universal "language" if you will.

Dude, watch FC all you want but my advice would be to not do anything too anarchistic, like, you know, robbery and murder and getting arrested and shit and don't self-mutilate yourself, as much as the chemical burn seemed to be fun (it isn't) - don't do anything that will seriously fuck up your life because you'll be really regretting that later.

Also: I wouldn't be well suited for your project but others here would, I think. I recommend contacting the members Nightrious and alex cassun. Those guys are really into that shit! Though when I think about it, Jane S. (don't be fooled by the username) is probably the most hard-core anarchist around here and as close to Tyler Durden as it gets. If FC enlightened you, Jane S. will make you fly! (send her a PM!)

Don't listen to him. This is like in Fight Club when they hit the cadets on the porch with the broom, but merely to test their resolve. This forum is a terrorist cell capable of operating without leadership. Just hang out here on the porch for awhile.

heyyyaaa...that's what i was thinking. bastard.

Hitting bottom is an experience and all, but I tell ya, once you do it, things like hunger, cold, pain, and depression become all the more REAL. All the fluff spelled backwards doesn't take away from the misery of wet cloths in November, eating condiments for a week, shitting behind CVS, and evil people trying to fuck with you this way and that. Just be weary of idealizing the bottom.

This anti government party...will you be serving tea?
Do I get a cool Fight Club Staff Member T-shirt?
If so Mine must say Supreme Staff Member on the back
Will someone be able to pick me up for our playhouse get togethers?
What sort of activities do you have plan? I personally would like to have knitting hour where we create misogynous messages on knitted scarves and hats and booties that say " Deliver me Name Brand Products" or "I'm Jacks lack of Knitting Talent"

Are we gonna practice training to be Fighters by playing the PS2 video game?

Oh and also, Can I bring my daughter? my ex-wife leaves her with me during the week.

Dude,

As someone who's also interested in goal-setting and acheiving things in my life, I'd be very interested in hearing more about this. What are your goals? What do you want to do with your life?

Something else that you might want to remember (that I think most folks forget, because it is so easy to forget) is that "anarchy" is NOT a world with NO rules. It never has been, and never will be.

"True" Anarchy (at least as I believe it to be) is all about Self rule. Choosing to do what you want to do, regardless of what other groups or organizations tell you to do.

Cool? Now, tell me (and everyone else) all about yr. goals :).

As a luthern self destructive suicidal looking for somthing to devote his life to FC/Anarchy is nothing short of genius to me. and yes i do completely understand the essence of Anarchy. It is the ideal that the people are totally capable of ruling themselves without a central govt. But combining that with getting society as a whole to eventually "hit bottom"......that is the dream my friends. (and by "hit bottom" i of course mean to lose the iqea nesting instinct). (iqea sp?). anyway, you catch my drift.

and yes we will be knitting T-shirts..

There are more worthy things you can devote your life to. For example, watching TV.

Another potentially great thread has now descended into pointless nonsense. But again, dude: I was serious about wanting to hear what your goals are. Like, are they concrete goals? "Hitting bottom," in my opinion, is about as vague as just saying, "I want to make a boatload of money." It's not specific. And for a goal to work, you need to be specific. So, what EXACTLY are you doing / plan to do / will do in the future?

That's what I (still) care about. And, for real: forget the naysayers here. They're standing against you, when at least you're standing FOR something (even if it might be dumb; who am I to judge?).

Unless, of course, you are in fact legally-tyler durden, an old Cult favorite. In which case, dude, welcome back.

You have been sorely missed. How is jolly ol' England these days, anyway? :)

When did this thread ever have potential? Anybody who comes on here and claims to advocate anarchy is almost certainly a moron. This guy's claiming that he wants to hit rock bottom because he's emulating a Hollywood movie, then he talks about playing video games and listening to CDs. This thread was one big joke right from the beginning.

There is a nearby community called "The Colonies" where I live - it has a nice brick wall and big letters spelling "The Colonies" at the entrance. A few months ago I drove by the entrance and part of wall and some letters were missing - so it now said "The Colon".
It was probably an auto accident that removed the "ies" from the wall, but I like to think Project Mayhem is alive and well thanks to local area Space Monkeys.

my apologies for my absence. when i first begin membership on a forum or a blog i have to get into a groove or i forget about it. almost happened there...

whoever was doubting my morals back there saying somthing along the lines of "beleiving in a hollywood movie" and watnot..... if you read my first post you would know "I would have come to these conclusions otherwise, but Fight Club puts them into a 'universal language' if you will". so what im sayin is i have been in this line of thought for some time now, but fight club put my thoughts into a form of understandibility.so:owned2: biotch.

now the moment you all have been waiting for: GOALS OF LIFE.

1. make an attempt to make a large portion of the population abandon the "iqea nesting instinct" and focus on what is important in life.
2. if said group develops, develop some form of the Natural Laws, but revised in some senses.
3.form a society to function on said Natural Laws, free of law enforcement or other forms of control beyond said Natural Laws.
a. natural laws will based on the idea that society can function peacefully without control. I have thought much about the plausability of this and it doesnt seem likely, but I have a solution: remove ALL FORMS OF CURRENCY. Revert to trading, hunting and such. I realize that this seems like a step back, but referring to a speech by anarchist Miss Emma Goldman, "An Anarchis Looks at Life", she said that people "fear that their possible gain will not be the equivalent for what they give up." this is a great speech that sort of sums up the ideals of anarchy. check it out. (google it. im sure you can find text on it).

4.If all else fails, follow the great philosopher Keirkegaard (spelling?) and live in seclusion in the mountains somewhere, philosophize through meditation living off the land, and maybe selling a book or two in my lifetime.

goal number 4 used to be my favorite, and still is but recently i realized that it is just as important that other people start to think about these things and try somthing new and different as well. only through this can we "climb out of the rabbitts fur and stare the magician in the eyes"-Sophies World by Jostein Gaarder. I strongly recommend....i take that back....i BEG all of you to read this book. if not the book then read page 14 and page 17 if you get your hands on a copy. This is the book that led to my path of enlightenment. (ive only read the first half of the book because ive been passing it around to my friends to read. lol).

and no that isnt a type-o. Gaarder is spelled w/ 2 a's. those crazy norwegians. (same w/ keirkegaard....i think)

in reference to the world not being ready to handle your philosophy, i felt the same way about 2 years ago when i started developing these philosophies. i thought i was alone and (sad moment) almost commited suicide. but then i slowly started talking to my friends about it and eventually i discovered a whole score of people around me with the same thoughts but didnt know how to talk to others about it. they're afraid it will seem weird or too different. but i took a chance and unified us all. you'd be surprised.

btw, my old therapist had this poster that said " 'Normal' is just a setting on your washing machine". love that.
