What's your rankings of Chuck's books?
Survivor
Invisible Monsters (Survivor and IM are interchangable depending on the day)
Fight Club
Lullaby
Choke
And I haven't read Fugitives and Refugees yet, I bought it Saturday. It is sitting right next to me actually.
"Excuse me sir, Did you wash your hands after you took that big heaping dump. You know that sign, that sign says ALL employees MUST wash their hands after using the restroom, What part of that do you not understand?"- Malcom X
"Would you care to lick my sweaty baulz after they have been dipped in the finest venerial juices and sauteed in my own ass-sweat, madam?"- Winston Churchill
What's strange, though Choke is at the bottom of my list I have read it more times than any other book he's written or any other book in general for that matter, even though I've only read it 3 times.

havent gotten F&R yet cause the bookstore didnt have it, now im home tho ill probably get it it within the week. Otherwise at the moment (it's subject to change especially the position of choke survivor and IM, the other two stay the same pretty much) it's this:
Fight Club
Survivor and Choke Tied (Choke keeps creeping up the list)
Invisible Monsters
Lullaby
1)Fight Club
1a) Survivor
3) lullaby
4) Choke
5) Invisible Monsters
6) Fugitives and Refugees
"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms." Albert Einstein
Survivor
Choke
Fight Club
Lullaby
Invisible Monsters
Fugitives and Refugees
I'm not lucky enough to have read Diary early, and I'm not reading anything at all about it, not the inside cover or reviews or anything. I like not knowing what the story's going to be about so everything's a surprise.
I finished fugitives and refugees, even though some parts were boring. But what I found in some of the boring parts I managed to push my way through, was a surprising funny sentence I would've missed if I didn't make myself read every single word. That happened a couple of times. This is why i can never not finish a book or movie, even if it's eh, because it just *might* get good.

Wow. This little thread got CRAZY. People telling me to abuse my girlfriend, people showing an alarming lack of respect for women as a whole, people questioning my masculinity in some kind of bizarre machoistic pissing-contest. Hell, I even got called stuffy.
Survivor
Lullaby (or)
Choke (depending on which I read last)
Fight Club (IM would be higher but FC got me into Chuck)
Invisable Monsters
Diary (didn't like it much, it will probably grow on me)
Fugitives & Refugees (not a novel, good read but i dont think I'll be going to Portland anytime soon)
"I'm a $#######!"
"##### on this!"
"I joined a ##### #### last night"
"Sing me a #######"
"I can't see all the ########## ########"
"The world's ######### ### ######### are here"
"Dear #####" is bound to be high on my list!

I'm surprised to see Survivor at the top of so many lists. Maybe this is a question for another thread, but what's the first book you'd give to a friend to introduce Chuck? Mine has been Choke. Not too hard, not too soft.

But to introduce a friend to Chuck, I'd give them Fight Club.
"I've never caught a jewel thief before. It's very stimulating."
Frances Stevens, To Catch a Thief
"Jeff, you know if someone came in here, they wouldn't believe what they'd see? You and me with long faces plunged into despair because we find out a man didn't kill his wife. We're two of the most frightening ghouls I've ever known."
Lisa Fremont, "Rear Window"

F & R is too hard to rank with the others. I love it because it's an insight into his life, but it's a totally different creature than the rest.
Diary is sitting by the bed, unread.
This list is subject to change depending on which way my mood swings at any given second.
First book to give a friend: really depends on the friend, prob'ly
Survivor or FC.
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had.
New rankings:
Choke
Fight Club
Diary
Fugitives & Refugees (special ranking)
Survivor
Invisible Monsters
Lullaby
Subject to change according to whim. I'd introduce with Choke (assuming FC to be overexposed/too much baggage with the movie, etc....)
