There Will Be No Canadian SNUFF Tour
I unfortunately had to make that news title as blunt as possible. I just heard back from Chuck's Canadian publicist. And it turns out that Chuck will not be doing any tour dates in Canada for his Snuff.
Still no word on any European or Asian dates. Stay tuned though. I'm working on finding out.

hell, cities like toronto and montreal are almost just suburbs of america anymore it seems.
I know they really took advantage of him in one of those random Canadian cities last time around. Probably just a result of the fact that its a small tour overall.
A long shot sure, but a June or July tour in China would be awesome! Fingers crossed...

He has GOT to go to amsterdam...the last time he was supposed to be here, he cancelled on the day itself...

I think it was Winnipeg...I hadn't heard of the town before the tour date. I went to Boston and Montreal, but missed the Monch event, we showed up as signing was ending. I heard he just got stupid questions in Monch, nothing too serious, but that makes it clear that ppl start asking anything because he was giving out prizes.
In Winnipeg, from what I remember reading on the boards (anyone who wants to search for it, be my guest) I remember someone describing it as being like a scene from a film, with some cliché garbage like phones ringing...and then the guy answering it in the middle of the reading or something. Some other dude supposedly ran up and grabbed the prize books before asking a question then asked as he was running back to his seat, someone else asked why he bothered to come to this city. If I remember correctly, I think Chuck even called them out on it. Again, if anyone get's the search function working, if would be good to see it.
...I tried search and it didn't show up, it was prob deleted. I browsed through Dennis' older posts and it wasnt there. Surprisingly enough, there were a buncha porn images that showed up under some older posts, I don't think those were there before.
I think the chicago one was were it all went to hell. with the phone ringing guy and whatall. The winnipeg one turned out pretty lame too, but i think Chicago was the one that took the cake.
Winnipeg surprised me last year of being a rather hip and cultural city despite what I had heard.
It really sucks ass that a select few ass clowns can ruin the image of the city.
This happened to me a few years back when I was watching a playoff game between the Bears and Saints. A neanderthal was holding up a sign that said "Lets finish what Katrina started!"
This is pretty sad considering Chicago has one of the best art museums in the world.
Greetings. Someone yelled out "You don't talk about Fight Club" after CP mentioned Fight Club. Chuck warned the screamer that he wouldn't put up with further nonsense. Then a cell phone went off. Chuck appeared to be quite annoyed and ran through part of his performance quickly, handing out several moose heads and baskets in a matter of minutes. It was difficult to tell if he was annoyed or tired or fed up or just having some kicks to see what the audience would do. Then someone in the front row apologized on behalf of the city and Chuck nodded, said thanks, and things moved on fine. Apparently the offending individual was asked to leave and escorted out. The question: "What made you think you had fans in Winnipeg?" was hilarious. The audience got a laugh out of the question and, so it seemed, did Chuck. Winnipeg has a popular of about 600,000 and was probably one of the smallest cities on the entire tour. The question was asked with obvious appreciation. KGM
