Quentin Tarantino Puts 'Fight Club' In His Top 20 Favorites Films List

Quentino Tarantino, whose new film "Inglorious Basterds" hits theatres on August 21st, has just compiled a six minute video for Sky Films in which he lists his Favorite 20 Films of the past 17 years.  Why 17 years?  Because 1992 is when Tarantino began directing and these are the films he admires most since then.

I wonder if Fincher would place him in his top 20...
doubt it.

I disagree with "The Host"...shitty awful movie, but what he says about "The Matrix" is spot-on.

I though Host was okay. Memories of Murder (same director) is brilliant. Basically the same as Fincher's Zodiac, except not shit.

"Casshern" is easily a better movie than "The Host"...a far superior Asian import.

I liked Unbreakable but watched it recently and found it boring. My brother however has ALWAYS HATED that movie.

If he only had one of those John Waters pencil moustaches he could quite possibly be the most revolting man ever.

In the book Rebels On The Backlot, Tarantino talks about how Fight Club was "like a diamond bullet in [the] brain" and how, though he could watch it all the time, he saves it for the fear of "overuse."

I disagree with "Lost in Translation".

"Fight Club". I think that it is one in which cinematization succeeded most. Even now, it is cool enough.

By the way, as well as "Boogie Nights", I love "Blow" too.

I agree with Unbreakable, I thought I was alone in finding it majorly underrated.

But Battle Royale as the #1 film? For seriose? It was an awesome concept but not much beyond that.
