Irvine Welsh Interview
Time to strap in and get ready for yet another installment in the evolution of The Cult. Starting today with Irvine Welsh, you will be seeing a new interview on the site almost every month. Shit, some months you'll see a new interview every week! And they won't just be author interviews.
We're going after the top names in the comics, music, TV, literary, comedian and movie industries. We're going to try and keep all the interviews focused on writing, in one way or another. But don't kill us if they stray off topic sometimes. We can gaurantee that the topic of discussions will always be interesting, and fit right at home on our site.
Irvine Welsh, the man behind Trainspotting, Porno, and his latest, If You Liked School, You'll Love Work sat down with Garrett Faber, a name you'll be seeing a lot more of around here in the months to come. With a mentor like the late-great Daniel Robert Epstein, Garrett has a gifted knack for asking original questions. Sometimes absurb. Sometimes very moving. But always interesting.

NIce new feature! And Welsh is the perfect choice to start it.
I did not know he was a ex addict, suddenly all the "withdrawal descriptions" in trainspotting seems more scary than ever.
BTW he omit to name one Neil Gainman book, was that on porpouse or he is just not interested in the guys work?
He didn't mention it and I didnt want to intrude.
