'Fight Club' Los Angeles Screening With Chuck Palahniuk & Jim Uhls At Beyond Fest!

'Fight Club' LA screening at Beyond Fest w/ Chuck Palahniuk & Jim Uhls

Earlier this month, when Chuck's tour dates for Beautiful You were announced, there was a little sadness from us here in Los Angeles that Chuck wouldn't be visiting. But a few weeks later, all of that melancholy has evaporated as it's just been announced that, not only will Beyond Fest be showing a 35mm print of Fight Club, but that both Chuck Palahniuk and screenwriter Jim Uhls will be attendance. Here's the official word from the folks at Beyond Fest:

Jeff Goldsmith brings his wildly popular Backstory empire to Beyond Fest for an evening of mischief, mayhem and soap as he records his latest podcast post screening. Jeff will discuss at length the story behind FIGHT CLUB with FIGHT CLUB author Chuck Palahniuk and screenwriter Jim Uhls, exploring the creative process attached to transitioning Palahniuk’s apocalyptic masterpiece from the book to the screenplay to the big screen. (Christian Parkes)

The screening will be on Tuesday, September 30th at 730pm at the world famous Egyptian Theater on Hollywood Blvd., followed right after by the Q&A, hosted by Jeff Goldsmith with Chuck Palahniuk and Jim Uhls.

'Starry Eyes'

But wait! There's more! If you follow Chuck on Twitter, you've probably heard about a horror film called Starry Eyes (co-directed/co-written by yours truly) that Chuck helped promote back when it was just a Kickstarter campaign. To help raise money for the film, Chuck allowed 100 lucky fans to donate and then receive a Thank You credit at the head of his upcoming novel Beautiful You (October 21st). Well, Starry Eyes is having its LA premiere a night earlier, at the same film festival: Monday, September 29th, 730pm. The filmmakers and star of the film will be attendance for a Q&A after the film.

Tickets available for "Starry Eyes' here!
