Something I have not done nearly enough promotion on, is the awesome new Fight Club anthology that just came out. I say it's awesome for many reasons (one of them being, that yours truly has an essay in it), but primarily because, Read Mercer Schuchardt, the guy who edited it, is someone I've known for a long time now. I find it amusing and ironic that Chuck wrote the foreward for the so-called "completely unauthorized" book.
B/c whether or not it's authorized has nothing to do with Chuck.
i dont know if i'll ever get this book or even read it, but, shit, that was a great introduction there. if i read that at barnes and noble i might have left with it.
the discount is nice, but after shipping won't it come out to around the normal price? it might be more worth it to skip the wait and just buy it at retail from the bookstore.
i think "unauthorized" just means the guy that collected all the essays just did it on his own, and wasn't hired by a publisher to come up with them.
I'm actually halfway through this book and it is awesome I would recommend this book as much as fight club itself.
Just got my copy thru a friend. Looks interesting. Will come in handy when I get to writing my own essay on Fight Club for a Postmodern Lit class I'm taking.
Why don't you try an essay on Beer of the Month Club... Fight club is old news now and it is needless to say that Fight Club will soon go to the Oldies, but Goldies category.
