Chuck's Appearances In Seattle At The AWP Conference
Next week is AWP (Association of Writers and Writing Programs). AWP has been described as the Comic-Con of writers conventions. It moves cities every year and this year, it's in Seattle, WA. While it's not open to the public, tickets/badges are available if one wants to register and attend. Not only will our sister-site LitReactor.com be on the hall floor with an amazing booth set up, but some of your favorite authors will be in attendance, signing books, speaking on stage, and doing panel discussions. And one of those authors is Chuck Palahniuk!
Here is what you'll find Chuck doing during AWP:
12:00 to 1:15 - (Panel) - Author & Editor: The Relationship that Builds a Book, Washington State Convention Center, Ballroom ABC (w/ guest Monica Drake!)
2:00 to 3:00 (Signing) - W. W. Norton's Exhibit Booth (#1505), Washington State Convention Center, Exhibit Hall
*Chuck will be signing Norton titles including the Invisible Monsters Remix (paperback), Survivor (paperback) and Fight Club (paperback) AND also in hardcover!
4:30 to 4:45 (Panel) - A Tribute to William S. Burroughs, Washington State Convention Center, Room 615/616/617
Chuck will also be appearing at Elliott Bay Books on Saturday night with Suzy Vitello (The Moment Before), Monica Drake (The Stud Book), Chelsea Cain (The Heartsick series), and Lidia Yuknavitch (Dora: A Head Case) as part of their now legendary 'Adult Bedtimes Stories' book tour. There's also a rumor going around that Chuck might be dropping by to hang out at a booth previously mentioned in this very news post. So keep an eye on LitReactor.com for details as AWP draws closer!
