Chuck Is Reading In Seattle, WA Tuesday Night!
UPDATE: Here is the website for the event with more info!
It seems Chuck is doing a reading event in Seattle tomorrow (Tuesday) night at the University of Washington.
Tuesday night, July 29th
7 pm at Kane Hall
The University of Washington campus
The event is free, but limited tickets are available at the University Bookstore. (I'm not sure what that means exactly). I'm in contact with the woman planning the event now, so I'll try and post more details as they become available to me.
In the meantime, apologies for the last notice on this one. We were never given any information about it. Probably because I don't think it has anything to do with Chuck's 'Snuff' tour. Chuck is teaching there this week for Clarion West Writer's Workshop. This reading must be part of that event.

man.. that's two weeks too early for me to go
i'm taking my woman to tacoma, wa to meet my mother and two of my sisters and my step father from the 14th through the 24th. most of the trip will be camping anyway.. oh well. it was almost cathartic happenstance

There are still tickets for this! I just went and picked mine up...The bookstore is located on/near 43rd & University Way in the U-district...
oh shoot, I found about this too late, and its at my school too (but i'm not there) . i'm so sad.
He read an unpublished short story called "Loser"... a chapter from "Pygmy" (his next book) and a chapter from "Snuff". All in all , it was a great reading.
I think instead of people passing out like when he'd read Guts, whenever he reads from Snuff people just break out having sex in the aisles.
yeah, everyone remained resonably clothed
