You can also view the trailer in HD at MTV.com!
Here's the description from moviesblog.mtv.com:
We knew it would be special when we visited its set last summer, and now we’re happy to roll out the trailer premiere for “Choke,” the film based on the book by “Fight Club” author Chuck Palahniuk. The movie finds Sam Rockwell as a sex addict who fakes choking episodes at restaurants to con money out of them. The film opens September 26.

I dig it.
Damn, that sucks! Copyright means it can't be played outside the US. What about us Brits! That sucks. I feel so cheated. Like a donkey and the unreachable dangling carrot. The frustration actually hurts.
Hawt!
Hmmm...I have mixed feelings after seeing the trailer. Usually I don't watch trailers for fear of ruining the story (the biggest scenes are always given away) but since I already read the book I didn't mind checking it out. The trailer makes it seem like a typical sex comedy. Though I'm hoping that's just because they think it would sell better that way, not because it will be a typical sex comedy.
i kinda agree with that, the movie will be hard to pull off, i like how they stuck to the dialog. it worries me, but i've heard a few good things and a few bad things so i guess i'll just have to judge for myself. but overall the preview looks decent.
Looks great.
Some of the scenes look quite strange/awkward, at least out of context. I expected Paige Marshall (I think, it's been a long time since I read Choke to be a bit different. More aggressive, stern, "bitchy." Instead, it's the actress from No Country for Old Men doing the cute pouty-lipped thing.
Also, the stripper transaction seemed a little forced. They were pretty far away from each other, I expected the girl to be dancing right in front of them. Plus, she wasn't really dancing that well... then again I've never been to a strip club.
But hey, I think the film will probably be alright. I don't think I'll be blown away, but I like Sam Rockwell. It should be satisfactory.
I think it looks excellent, although I do agree with "rainbowsheeps" that I also expected Paige to look and act a lot more bitchy and stern. Of course, that was only a quick snippet of the film, so maybe seeing the entire film it will be different.
Other than that, I can't complain with the trailer, it looks good. I hope it's dark enough, though, and they didn't try to whitewash it.
I love the music they play in the trailer !!! (the second song) Anyone know what band or musician that is?

Great trailer. Outside of the US, you can watch it on myspace.
Heeey....you changed your hair!
Great delivery on that stuff! I can't wait!
I really can't wait either, my wife was wondering what I was laughing out loud about, so I guess that's a good thing. I'm not usualy an out loud laugher. That Heeey...you changed you hair scene cracks me up.
