I will definitely own this DVD. I went to see the movie by myself. The book was worse than the movie. See how I did that? No, but f'real Sam Rockwell and Angelica Houston were perfectly cast. Clark Gregg was pretentious as can be as Lord High Charlie. And damn, Paz Vega (baby) I porpoise...eh eh eh!
I'm assuming The Cult will have them for sale so I don't have to spend my hard earned monies on the likes of Amazon.com, yes?

Personally, BluRay can go suck it because it's just expensive shit that i can't tell a difference between anyway, hell most people can't.
i have no idea how much movies cost when they first come out, but i'm putting twenty dollars aside so i can get this.

As you all know Tuam has no cinema but I have a dvd player so I will finally get to watch this.

the reason why most people can't tell the difference is because they don't realize that you need BOTH an HD source (Blu-ray, HD cable, etc.) AND and HD output (HD television). If you're watching blu-ray on a standard TV, of course you won't notice much of a difference. Now, if you have things hooked up properly, there is a HUGE difference. I will most likely get the dvd, but blu-ray has totally spoiled me...I'll buy it, and watch it but I would prefer the blu-ray. Oh well.
also, as far as blu-rays being expensive, if the extra $5-10 is too much for you I understand. However, they typically come packed with tons of extras. Worth the money if you're into the movie enough to buy it in the first place.
i wish it had come out for christmas, then i could have gotten it for free
