Makes what I used to do to my vans/chuck taylors look, well, pathetic.
i wanna know what kinda markers he used.
wow. I thought for a sec the page was selling them and got all mad because of how consumerist that was...but then read what was after and just went into shock...
they're really good
they sell t shirts.
Because we're Consumeristas!
I make all my own clothes and hunt my own food. Because that's what Fight Club told me to do.
I also made this computer from sticks and mud because i refuse to give into consumerism and corporate greed.
That's awesome.
....and those shoes rule all over the place.
I know, and it makes me sick to my stomach.
I would wear the shoes untill the soles broke through.
I know, and it makes me sick to my stomach.
Well dont you buy books? And you do know that Chuck Himself supports a most all of the merch that's out there and helped out with the recent batch of shirts right. (The ones from the St.Helens book shop)

of course i buy books. but books and merch are two different things. I just don't like the idea of merch having anything to do with chuck palahniuk... i don't get it, his novels criticize society. and merch is a clear example of what the world is becoming, money, and instant pleasures which amount to nothing and leave human lives meaningless with out them even noticing. I'm just saying.
You're wrong.
Ya Chuck hates Corporate America. I mean they forced him to have his books turned into movies. As for the Shirts, how dare anyone show support for an author and his work.
Wait no. That is just stupid. Having a shirt that shows my support and enjoyment of a moviebookbandbeercolor isn't just instant gratification, that's what masturbation is for.
I know, and it makes me sick to my stomach.

I think you're confusing the actual physical object with the importance that is or isn't placed on it.

but my real question is has vuka done the chemical burn with lye yet? if not i call bullshit on being sick to their stomach about the whole merch bit.
PROJECT MAYHEM!
the chemical burn with lye was a metaphor!
Kudos. I made guts ones a year ago. I can't help but wonder if I might have been the inspiration for these?... They rock by the way.
Are shoe the New Media? That's what I'm wondering?
They have kind of been for a while, Tuffy. Go look up the stuff that Adidas has recently done for Star Wars. Limited collectible shoes have been quite popular for some time.
Did you post them on here? They don't look familiar.
