*This may sound uber sensitive or overly patriotic* The line in Damned during a conversation between Maddy and Emily "....it's like being Canadian....You get used to it"
What was the inspiration behind that line do you think? I haven't met a Canadian who would ever say something like that. It sounds a lot like something a USAmerican might say.
Maybe there is a story behind it? ;D

I was excited too about Emily being Canadian. I don't really understand why?But Victoria BC is only like 3 hours away from where I live. But then again, alot of Americans, probably don't care whether its a few hours away from them. I live in Ucluelet BC.I got excited about Vancouver BC in Invisible Monsters.

It sounds like just some sort of Canadian joke, but I don't get it.
Seems like it would make more sense if it was something like "it's like being Canadian living in the U.S. You get used to it."
