This is ultimate brave for me, starting a new post (hazzah!), that and borderline excessive/annoying for my liking on posting for myself so I think after this I need to walk away from the computer slowly & hit up some video games : P
Meaningless rambling; What I wanted to ask or just suggest for a topic is use of basic popular stereotypes mentioned in the blurb, "Cheerleader, a jock, a nerd & punk rocker."
Thinking on it I had a high school flash back, and I really don't think there is anything more frightening because I am not that adolescent anymore. I judge high school me basically.
I really didn't fit in because I was considered a "jock" only because I had a position on the school soccer team. People who knew me little bit better called me a nerd because I would ditch class to game (at the time PS2 style).
To this day these labels given still confuse me, and I really don't think hold true meaning to me.
So is there a reason to be so stereotypical & include hell into the working? Are shallow perceptive peeps punished in the afterlife? Will these superficial stereotypes hold true by the end of the book?
Any who....way too many words as always; food for thought : )
(I respond, it just might take some time to happen, coocoochachoo)
Ninja out. Lilu.
*As my PSY of prejudice professor said (quoting scholar research, and having the evidence to back up his statement), "Stereotypes effect how you think whether you believe them or not."
