Cast for Rant?
I was thinking about who could play as the cast for a Rant movie, and this is what I came up with.
Rant:
Jack White
Echo Lawrence:
Lizzy Caplan (shown left)
Shot Dunyun:
Micheal Massee
Any other ideas?
Kind of like with that Bob Dylan movie right?
And what about my choice for Echo? Is that any good?
Kind of like I'm Not There, but instead of different actors playing the different characteristics of one guy, they'd all be playing the same exact character, down to them wearing the same costumes and whatnot. Maybe come up with some kind of weird little personal quirk or something, like cracking his knuckles, that no matter who's playing him, he keeps doing.
I don't know who lizzy Caplan is, there's no picture showing up.
One I just thought of that would probably be good for Green Taylor Simms, Peter Weller.
And from the picture I found even have Balthazar Getty as another Rant.

Lizzy Caplan is the chick who played Marlena in Cloverfield.
If the picture for Jack didn't show up, I am thinking about this one in particular.
yeah, I could see her playing echo. I do hope if it gets made, that they've got enough of a budget to give her the withered arm look though.

As far as the chicks in the movie, there's plenty of female culties that would be perfect for the parts.
Now the guys are a different story. The closest guy to Rant is that Wayne dude. I do think that Shot would be blonde, maybe Random.

I don't know, I think it would work pretty well. Put some black teeth on him and you're good to go, son.
Or we could go with Nathaniel's idea and just use him for when it's from Echo or Shot's point of view.
My vote is Sam Rockwell for Rant. Remember him in Green Mile? Think that. I do second the vote for having several people playing rant for different people's perspectives. It would be easy to maneuver, because generally, Rant wears that extermination suit most of the time once he moves into the city. Obviously Green should resemble Rant. Echo Lawrence I haven't decided on...I think Single Serving Jack is close with Shot Dunyan, but there's something missing...
I like my idea of, depending on who is telling their story at the time, to have a different person play Rant for each of them.
Jack White is a good one. I think they oughta try and get that Johnny Knoxville guy for another one, and maybe Geovani Ribisi for another one.
It'd make it a different kind of movie that's for sure.
