Cast for Rant?

I like my idea of, depending on who is telling their story at the time, to have a different person play Rant for each of them.
Jack White is a good one. I think they oughta try and get that Johnny Knoxville guy for another one, and maybe Geovani Ribisi for another one.
It'd make it a different kind of movie that's for sure.

Kind of like with that Bob Dylan movie right?

And what about my choice for Echo? Is that any good?

Kind of like I'm Not There, but instead of different actors playing the different characteristics of one guy, they'd all be playing the same exact character, down to them wearing the same costumes and whatnot. Maybe come up with some kind of weird little personal quirk or something, like cracking his knuckles, that no matter who's playing him, he keeps doing.

I don't know who lizzy Caplan is, there's no picture showing up.

One I just thought of that would probably be good for Green Taylor Simms, Peter Weller.
And from the picture I found even have Balthazar Getty as another Rant.
(hopefully it'll show up.)

Lizzy Caplan is the chick who played Marlena in Cloverfield.

yeah, I could see her playing echo. I do hope if it gets made, that they've got enough of a budget to give her the withered arm look though.

Jack White is not a redneck. He's from Detroit Rock City. A very industrial place. So no, I don't like your pick.

Plus I'm a huge fan of his.

As far as the chicks in the movie, there's plenty of female culties that would be perfect for the parts.
Now the guys are a different story. The closest guy to Rant is that Wayne dude. I do think that Shot would be blonde, maybe Random.

I don't know, I think it would work pretty well. Put some black teeth on him and you're good to go, son.

Or we could go with Nathaniel's idea and just use him for when it's from Echo or Shot's point of view.

My vote is Sam Rockwell for Rant. Remember him in Green Mile? Think that. I do second the vote for having several people playing rant for different people's perspectives. It would be easy to maneuver, because generally, Rant wears that extermination suit most of the time once he moves into the city. Obviously Green should resemble Rant. Echo Lawrence I haven't decided on...I think Single Serving Jack is close with Shot Dunyan, but there's something missing...

I'm looking to play Rant, agleast for his teenage years. Since im sixteen and look alot older I think Id work. I'm like a chameleon. I spent some of my life in Oklahoma and "auditioned" for this part at a hospital one time.
Any help anyone?

I thought Giovanni Ribisi would play a good rant maybe. He'd need to serious up a bit though. Looking forward to seeing what he's Like in Avatar.

Saying that, Jack White does look the part IMO.

I also suggest "billy the exterminator" from the A&E show for rant casey, for obvious reasons

I think Jack White woud be good. He can play redneck good. Remember Cold Mountain? I LOVE Lizzy Copeland. It would be cool having multiple Rants. Johnny Knoxville? No way...

single serving jack......wow..jack white..idk i pictured rant as a little more of a hick. and i dont think echo should be that obviously pretty. it needs to be someone who is attractive but only in a way that you only htink so because you would feel rude calling her ugly..because she isnt quite ugly. ifthat even makes sense. and i pictured shot less disgustingly creepy and backwoods rapist. okay i guess i just dont really agree with your choices but i see what your going for.

HEATHER MOTTARAZZO FOR ECHO! im a genius..or also jessie cave...she would be good. echo..to me anyways.. needs to be pretty but ugly at the same time. she needs to be "sympathy pretty" actually now im leaning towards jessie cave. neither ofthese girls are ugly but we all know what movie makeup can do. i think they have good starting faces for the part.
