Six/dot banned: Permanently

Okay. Was anybody really offended? (Does people older than 13 get offended when called names on the internet?) I don't mean we should throw overboard all manners and civility, but as Jack said, calling names doesn't really feel like something that's that big of a threat to society.

That said, if someone is actually offended and feels bad about it, well, if it's a constant problem, then tha ban hammer will slam down with all it's might. I don't know if Six has been that much of a problem.
I haven't, though I've only been here for a short while, felt she is.

Okay, Tobii posted on my facebook that she "doesn't understand" me and no longer has any desire to know me. She also called me a cunt, a "nonperson," and then unfriended me.

I've put up with a lot of shit with and from her over the years. Defended her to a lot of people, including Mirka and Frank. I've basically acted like her parole officer a number of times, and I hope she enjoys the feeling of shooting herself in the foot on this one.

Good job, Mirka. If she has so little respect for me, or for any of us, she deserves what she gets.

I have to say, I hate that she did that to you and that she may have hurt you, but I'm kind of glad that you won't be defending her anymore. You are pretty much the only reason I have never spoken out about my utter dislike for her or responded to any of the bitchy things she has said to me. I just tried to politely ignore her because i figured if you liked there must be a reason. I guess she isn't aware that you are one of the biggest reasons she hasn't been banned more often or permanently before now.

And I'm sure I'm an idiot at times, but I honestly find myself wishing this hadn't happened. At least not permanently.

As much as I have disliked Six here and there, I always thought someday, someone here that she respected, or at least listened to, would slowly wear off enough of the rough edges. There were a few times I thought if I just reasoned enough, I might be that person. (hindisght... funny thing) She always brought a lot to this place, even if we had to get the crazy along with it. And even if it made some of us crazy too, myself recently included.

I honestly wanted to be on her good side, what with the photography and the music and art she was into. I hated that someone like that and I couldn't seem to hit our stride and find the things we had in common, which seemed like a lot.

I have a hard time believing Bastards is really Six because

1. Bastards just called me rude and then said he/she was 38 years old.
2. I've been talking to Tobii the whole time Bastards was in chat and Tob says she knows nothing about it. So that's a little weird.

I'm pretty positive that wasn't her, too. I was in chat and Basterds wasn't really doing much of anything besides normal new person things. She argued a bit with Taylor, was curious about the workshop, and mostly stayed quiet. I'm not sure why Six would do that because it's neither actually talking to us nor is it mocking us. It's just nothing, really.

No posted proof, for obvious reasons. I don't think we'll be explaining how we track accounts.

Wow... how long has Six been around? Since, what, 2003? I think? Hmm... her mix of sincerity and humor were always a treat, despite the fact that, as a newbie and a softie (compared to most culties), we haven't always gotten along (even though it's never, ever been personal, because even if we fought on one issue, we could still discuss others with no problem). The only times her bitchiness has ever gotten out to a degree that I would consider TOO offensive is when someone ELSE makes it too personal. She's even complained about not having real discussions with people. I've seen other culties on here that have reacted far worse than she does, but it just seems that Six had a way about her that made it sting more. Yes, I do think the context of the line in the movie really should have been taken into account. I mean, does anyone honestly think she was calling anyone an actual whore?... through one of her comedic pics?... from Mean Gils?... from a scene where she's not actually calling anyone a whore?? I honestly don't see this place getting any better from this permanent decision. In fact, I think it got significantly worse.
