Problems with posting.
I'm not able to post in all threads. I don't think it's in specific forums as I was able to post in the sOctober picture but not in PA (both in the General Discussion). Anyone else having this problem?
(Hopefully I can post this new forum and people can post in it)

I haven't really tried posting in most of the threads to be honest. We'll see if this one gets through.
you were banned frank! you didn't know? drank funk hacked into your account te other day and turns out he banned you from specific threads
I can post just fine as far as I know, but I can't see the Shoutbox. So... I dunno? Glitches, maybe?
Glitches, Bitches! Yeeee haww!
What exactly is happening when you try to post?
Is the post box not there? Are you getting some sort of error message? Can you send me a screenshot?
So far, I haven't received any complaints from anyone else.
Meh, it looks like it was just on my end. I think my java was acting up or some such.
It's fine now.

actually..
member ntme777 came into shoutbox and expressed that he wasnt able to post in the forums, just in shoutbox. i thought it was part of some inside joke [with whoever was in shoutbox at the time] that i just didnt get. but, now that frank's mentioned this, i havent seen that cat in a while.
to note, ive noticed nothing on my end, with shoutbox or the forums.

I have a new question.. I'm a new member and I was wondering how do I delete a post I have written?
If it's a reply post, and your own, you should see Edit and Delete buttons at the bottom toward the right side. If it's the starting post of your own thread, you should find an Edit tab at the top left on your starting post.

Thanks.. But sorry the only buttons I see toward the right side of my previous post are Edit, Reply and Quote.. I can't see no Delete option?
See attached photos. And tell me if I'm crazy and these buttons don't appear for you. As an administrator, I have edit privileges on every post, but I'm almost certain that you should have the same array of options (or nearly the same) relative to your own posts.

Use the Edit button then. Maybe internally you can find a way to delete or select 'Not Published.'
At the very least, you can use the Edit button and completely change or nullify the content.

Okay thanks alot! I'll give it a go.
Yeah, we don't get delete buttons, you have to edit and erase what you posted. Hence all of those "oop! Double Post!" things you see around here.
Mark has the fancy Admin Helmet of Supreme Power® so he gets to see a lot of things you do not. Normal users, like you, do not have the ability to delete posts.

Actually, the reason is technically VB's!
IT works like this, when you reply to a comment, your comment gets hooked to that reply. Since we imported all of the VB threads and comments, there are literally thousands of these "hooked" comments.
The problem is, if we allow you to delete your comment, you also end up deleting all of the comments that were hooked to it. All of the discussions that have been created since we moved to Drupal don't have this problem. So if you all wouldn't chew my head off for letting old threads get slaughtered, you could delete posts.
VB!!!!!!!!!!

That is some good photo chopping.
Okay.. Thanks everyone for enlightening me.
I challenge anyone to make a better B out of a D in under 30 seconds.
Hey, do I have helmet-head when I pull this thing off?

So did Gordon Blackstone delete all his threads? I tried reading his old threads but I would get an "Oops!" page if I could remember correctly.

Oh and also, can mods see edits? Like can they see if a post that now says "oh you're awesome" once said "Screw you, kid!"

1. Not sure. It's possible that if Gordon's old threads you wanted to see were more than one year old then some of them may have simply not survived the transition out of vBulletin.
2. Of course. Mods can see everything. Even what you're thinking before you type it. Mods all have telepsychotic abilities. Especially Frank.
The real answer is no. But there is a good chance someone on staff will see the original post before you make the edit. Best to play nice.

Test. Hm...works okay for me...
