It's not always 100%.
The search function isn't perfect, but c'est la vie.
having a google based search for a forum this big seems to me like kind of a cop-out, but i understand that a locally hosted search would take up a lot of server space. i'll make do.
No search function is ever perfect. _kit is right, we could run our own, but it requires a hell of a lot of server power to run on a site this size. So it makes a lot more sense to offload it to Google, since they are pretty good with that.
Maybe we'll change that at some point, but for now it makes the most sense.
It's a shame that we have to use sarcasm font for every instance of sarcasm around here.

I find that the search function works really well when you remember who posted the thread you're looking for. If you don't remember well then.
