Study Guide
We should make one to help people understand everything that happens. Say the chapter number, then what happens in it only if you really understand what happened.
I'll help out eventually, who wants to start?
Pygmy.
Baroque: great idea!
I can't be of much help since I gave up on Pygmy after two chapters. For now anyway. And even those I don't understand.
Since I mostly read non-fiction I needed to fill the need for my yearly dosage of Chuck with something else. So i picked up Koontz The Husband.
It's a black and white, good vs evil, thriller. But it was exciting. And, above all, readable; read the whole thing in two days.
Now I'm reading Murakami...
Anyway, not to bore you with my literature list; I would love to read a deciphered synopsis of Pygmy!
Watching this thread carefully.

Now I write, when I'm away, letters that you'll never read.

I think this is a great idea and I'm sorry that your thread has already been derailed. Maybe you should delete it and start a new one with this in it:
Do not take this thread off topic, please. Do not discuss if this is a good or bad idea. Please post the chapter/dispatch and explain it to the best of your ability.
Off topic posts will be deleted by a mod at my request.
If you ask me where I come from, I have to converse with
broken things,
with utensils bitter to excess,
with great beasts frequently rotted
and with my anguished heart. (Neruda, of course)
Anyone want to explain Dispatch 18 to me, it went right over my head when I read it.
Thanks.
So can someone start, please? I'm only on Dispatch fifth and already confused
