If you bought Pygmy, it wouldn't have been sent till May 1st, when the book comes/came out. Grant it time.

Where do you live? I ordered from Scotland before and it usually takes a week. So fingers crossed for Pygmy this week sometime!

I just called them. All orders were shipped yesterday (May 4) via priority mail, which is 1-4 days.

Chuck signed 650 books for them. I bet everyone is tired. Chuck signing, St Helen's staff busily shipping.

I got my copy in the mail today. However, I have never got an e-mail from them saying when it would ship/that it did ship.

I live in Denmark and have written them about 5 times asking what has happened to my order. Two books that never showed up. It is a long story, but basically have called them up twice asking (from bloody Denmark!) and the same message that the person who is handling emails is not in at the moment, and that she would be in later that day and will write me first thing. Never hear from them.

They put too little shipping on the first and it got returned, and now I can't get a reply from the staff. They even charged me the shipping twice without asking. I don't know what happens, they seem like such nice people, but this is driving me nuts.

And no, I did not join just to bitch. Big fan, I have been lurking for a while and will join in on the fun.

How long has it been since you ordered them?

Waaaaaay too long. But since it was mailed 17th of july the first time and then on the 11th of august as it came back. It may still show I guess, but I doubt it. Rarely more than 7 days shipping from US. I have no confirmation that it is shipped and have asked many times for tracking info, but have not received it.

Pull a Shawshank Redemption on them and just send an e mail every 6 hours until they HAVE to answer just to get you to stop sending e mails.
And then if they just give you the form answer, start sending e mails every THREE hours!

Ah Mr. Parker, you are so right. I do see why they would get sick of me by now.

I think I will do the opposite and wait a full week and then call and be extra nice. I must have faith.

it's the same concept as getting out of jail sooner or getting credit card late fees removed. call and call until they're tired of you.

Then Julian's got this attitude and fires a bullet at my brand new car! Real nice! So I fired a shot at his new car. Spy for a spy, that's the way it works around here."

You can be nice and still send them e mail after e mail. You don't got to swear at them or anything, just ask, nicely, when you'll get your order, over and over and over again.

Maybe give them the week and then start inundating them with mail.
