Can't believe it didn't dawn on me until now.
Pygmy = pig me. Or else maybe pig, me.
He calls lots of other people pig in the book, and then look what happens to him in the end.
It's almost Orwellian, circa Animal Farm.

I have no idea how this is a spoiler they call him Pygmy because he is so small like those dudes from Africa. Besides pig has nothing to do with the end, I don't get what your trying to conclude. Please "define".

I think he's saying that because Pygmy rejects the mission and starts a new life he himself becomes a "pig" like the rest of America.
