3 days until Pygmy..who's excited?
I know I am.. I've been needing a book to read but didnt want to start anything so close to the release of Pygmy.
I cant wait till Tuesday..I have my copy reserved

That makes sense. I started it, and had a difficult time getting into it because of the style. So I'm not that excited. But I am excited for you.
It looks like it will be this months book club selection so I'll give it another shot. I was intending to anyway, this will just push it up higher in my to read pile.

I am more excited to see chuck on tour on May 8th then I am to actully read Pygmy. But yea I will pick it up on the 6th.

yea I'm pretty excited about it...I really wanted to see Chuck on tour the 5th in Boston but I have class that day..stupid college
and I did take a peak at the first couple pages of the first chapter and I didnt find it all that hard to follow..you just gotta read it carefully and go back if you dont understand something.

I'm not one to advocate cutting classes, but in this case, maybe. Is there a big test or something? If it's just a lecture maybe a classmate could share their notes with you?
If you've never seen Chuck reading, you are really, really missing out. He's an amazing speaker. The readings are SO much fun.
my other problem is getting there i have no car..so i cant go anyway...im deff gonna go to a reading for his next book he releases after pygmy for sure though

i'm about as far from excited for this as can be, however I am anal about getting books in hardback and i've got some lingering sentimentality for chuck so i'll probably go ahead and pick this up next week since it will most likely only be like 13-14 bucks as a new release. I absolutely don't want to wait a few months and have to spend full price for it. I made that mistake with Snuff. The only thing that stopped me from cursing the gods was i figured it was just karma evening things out a bit for all the movies and music i've stolen.
I saw copies of Snuff for $3 at the book store a few weeks ago.
