Where do you hope the sequels take us?
I know everybody is in a state of excited anticipation for the next novel in the Rant series, but where do you think Chuck will take it? Personally, I'm hoping for a battle of immortals with Rant, Chester, and Echo on the side of good and Tina, Green Talyor Simms, and Waxman on the side of evil. That would be badass.
I read in an interview that he was. I hope he does. This has got to be one of my favorite books of all time.
I'd imagine if he does a trilogy it'll be in the sense that it takes place in that same "world" with the daytimers and night-timers and whatnot and maybe feature one of the supporting characters. But it won't have Rant in it.
If it doesn't have flying exploding dildos or people getting shock-paddle-fused during sex, it's a step in the right direction.
I agree, my last 2 books that I have read were Snuff and Pygmy, uff dah.
How was Snuff? That's the only book I haven't read other than Fugitives and Refugees
Bad.

Oh well, I'll still read it. I've got nothing else to do with my down-time at work.
Read better books (?)

Yes, well, better books are available. My father is an English teacher and we have more books than most libraries in the surrounding areas, but I like to read what I want to read when I want to read it. If that makes any sense. I guess I'm sort of a media snob, in that I read one book by a certain author and if I like it, I will read all the books by that author before I move on. If I don't like it, it may take a few years before I get back to that particular author.
I really love Rant, but I hope he doesn't do any sequels or prequels or whatever.
It stand as it is and is a great book. Leave well enough alone is what I say.
if there is a second book to rant, i would love to have it follow rant or needy through time, explaining all the things needy asked us to explain through out the first and last few chapters.
Rant is my favorite book. i would love a sequel.
I hope the sequels take us nowhere. I love the book, and I think it's one of Chuck's most well-thought-out works, but I think it should be left open the way it was.
FUBU and KFC have anounced their move to combine forces and fullyn focus on targeting more 'ethnic' audiences. In other news, McDonalds, Starbucks and Wal-Mart have combined to become The United Corporate of America. Moving on...

I thought he said somewhere that Rant wasn't going to be a trilogy..
