What Happened to Echo??
I loved this book until the ending (which I won't give away) but I thought it was a prime example of deus ex machina. Anyone else agree?
POTENTIAL SPOILERS....
Can someone please refresh my memory on what happened to Echo at the end. I can't remember that loose end being tied up, and she is not mentioned in the blurbs at the end with the rest of the characters...is this why people keep thinking that Chuck might do a sequel..which I hope he does NOT do.
I borrowed the book or else I just reread it, but I couldn't find any evidence on what happened to her after the events in the novel.
Thanks for sharing
life is like rock 'n' roll...it sounds good, feels great, and gets you laid, but leaves you with a big fucking headache.
does no one know?

Time-travel leaves no traces, dude.
Tuffy the Dump Truck may rarely increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke. The risk may be greater if you have heart disease or increased risk for heart disease (for example, due to smoking, family history of heart disease, or conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes), or with longer use. Tuffy should not be taken right before or after heart bypass surgery. Also, Tuffy may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. This effect can occur without warning symptoms at any time while taking Tuffy. Older adults may be at higher risk for this effect. (See also Precautions and Drug Interactions sections.) Stop taking Tuffy and get medical help right away if you notice any of the following rare but serious side effects: bloody or black/tarry stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, chest/jaw/left arm pain, shortness of breath, unusual sweating, weakness on one side of the body, sudden vision changes, slurred speech. Ask your doctor if Tuffy is right for you.
Oh your going to have to ask Harvey Banfield. He is our residential Palahniuk encyclopedia.
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy
I'd like to have this question revisited because I only just finished this book, and the lack of Echo drove me nuts. There was no mention of her in the car with Chester and Neddy at the very end... Obivously not with Green, being that she was in buying licorice. No mention of anything after waking to see Shot kiss Neddy to pass along the rabies. I'm confused.

You're doing it wrong.
