Time Travel *Spoiler*
So Back to The Future is back on HBO for some reason. And I got to thinking about Rant and the whole Time Travel theory. According to Rant, Marty wouldn't dissappear, he'd just recreate himself of he ended up banging his mom. Thus he'd end up transcending time thus he'd become somewhat of a god like Rant. So, in a weird way, wouldn't it turn out more beneficial if he ended up doing his mother at the prom and not hooking her up with his father?
Just imagine what a kind of movie that would be with that added in.
P.S. I remember watching this as a kid and enjoying it. Now all I see in it is incestual implications. Isn't it odd that the whole movie is based around a kid trying to save himself by getting his pop laid? Not so PG family friendly anymore is it? I think I'd rather fade away into nothingness than try to hook my dad up with some pussy.

Because time travel isn't real there are different theories of how it can go. BTTF didn't use Rant's theory of time travel so banging his mom would make him not exist and create a paradox that would destroy the universe.
My personal favorite theory of time travel is the "shaved cat" theory from the book "FOOP!" by Chris Genoa that my avatar is from.
You can't kill your parents in the past because then you wouldn't exist and thus no one killed your parents.
That theory wasn't used in BTTF that doesn't mean it wasn't applicable. Just because it goes unmentioned doesn't mean it's not the truth. The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. What I'm saying is that if the theory did work, he'd be better off boning his mother.

Too bad Marty gave into that stupid time paradox stuff and didn't read Rant.
I still need a geneticist to explain to me the implications of being your own father...Like...Maybe that's what I'll research into tomorrow. If I come up with some explanation, I'll post it here.
Marty's mom was hot. That doesn't stop him from fading away if his dad doesn't win his mom over.
I never understood the fading away thing. Either Marty exists or he doesn't. The fade was kind of goofy.
