Shot and Canada *SPOILERS*

Does anyone else think that Canada Mercer (the guy who solicits Echo for a threeway with his wife, but instead just tries to take care of her) is actually a successfully pioneered Shot Dunyun? There were a few similarities between the two of them (not the least of which being they both had dogs named Lulu), and would explain his need to nurture Echo as opposed to paying her for sex. I just finished the book for the first time (finally!) this week and that was an immediate thought of mine. Thoughts?

I thought the original name of the dog was Sandy. Either way, that's a nice connection I didn't come up with.
that is a very interesting theory. the complexity of this book continues to amaze me.
