SPOILERS!

This being a review, it may have spoilers.

Now this isn't some serious Chuck's Workshop worthy review but I'll toss my two cents into this here cup. I just finished this morning, and returned the book thereafter because I couldn't afford it in the first place. Some firsts: That was the fastest Chuck read I've done to date. And that wasn't even to beat the return deadline. I am not and never will be tired of Chuck's "time runs out, there is no salvation, this is reality" themes. Yes it was a smaller vehicle in this book than it has been in the past but it was there. And thats why I read it. What do I think about his story? God dog amazing. I love the way it tied up to the way you didn't even know if the book was fiction or a transcript from the future, or past...I am none too sure myself. - I do have to announce a weakness. Here it is: That chapter where it was nothin' but PHD's and MA's talkin', I couldn't stand that. Granted Chuck did write at the end of it, a line by Shot Dunyan: "That was boring." (Paraphrasing) - but saying that doesn't make it better.

Please Chuck, don't do that, James Joyce did that - the entire, "Look I'm boring on purpose here." Please, no one needs you to go there too.

Thats all, I'll put more in as people talk.

Does this count as a "personal" review? I wrote it for Dogmatika a couple months back.
