Official Online Shipping Update Thread!
Yes, well. So rather than create a new Rant thread EVERY SINGLE DAY BEFORE THE BOOK COMES OUT, I thought that it might be better to have one thread that could be a kind of warehouse for updated shipping and recipient information.
Like, you can post here when Amazon or whomever tells you that your order has shipped, when you're scheduled to get it, etc.
As of today, Thursday, April 26th, 2007 (or it will be in 10 minutes), my copy of Rant, ordered from Amazon (through this very website) has not yet shipped.
My broke ass chose "standard shipping" (it killed me to do this), so Amazon says the book will not be here until May 3 - 5.
Those will no doubt be among the longest days of my life.

I ordered like $100 worth of other books, and picked the free slow shipping. Still, not bad. I had to drop "Clown Girl," cuz it's on backorder, and I didn't wanna slow the rest down.

Now the book will be out in stores on TUESDAY, and I'll still be waiting!

Mine just arrived an hour ago, The postamn mistakenly delivered it to my Polish neighbour who is called Darik. Im going to try and save it for this Bank Holiday weekend.

I ordered mine online from Barnes & Noble a couple of weeks ago, where it was much cheaper (after member's discounts around $85). Well I just got an email today saying it's been pushed back and won't be shipped until May 31st... anyone else have to deal with this kind of mess?
Mine didn't come today like I expected (It says "Left Dallas" Yesterday and I live in a suburb of Dallas...) so if it's not here tomorrow I think I'll go kill USPS.
Here's my info.
I pre-ordered from St. Helen's a long time ago, and when we placed the order, we used our old credit card. In the space between the order placement, and the billing of that card, the card was shut down because someone swipped it and bought a whole bunch of shit. So, since that card didn't work, I got an email from SH's, and today my mom called and gave them our new card info. Everything worked out fine, and the woman said chuck has been in all week, and he's in tomorrow, and then they are shipping the books on May 1st. So if you ordered from SH's, don't expect an early one, which is fine. I can't wait to get mine!!
