I Am So Confused ...

I know nobody has posted anything on this thread for awhile, but let me put this out there. It's a theory I had after I had first read Rant. Could it be possible that every male character in the story is some different version of Rant, and every female some version of Echo? All of existence somehow wrapped up in these two people, like if Adam and Eve just kept copulating and cloning with themselves until the whole world was just filled with their different selves? I don't know if that makes sense with the story or not, though, as it's been awhile since I read the book and it is currently floating amongst the circle of my friends. It just reminds me of this one time I was tripping and I whole-heartedly believed that all of existence was just one conciousnes fragmented infinitely. Oh, and please do not give me any grief because I like to hallucinate every once in a blue moon.

One of the last bits in the book (maybe THE last before the where are they now? chapter) is Tina opting for immortality.
