How to Read this book
i know this is a dumb question, but i am currently in the middle of reading this badass book. while i was reading it something popped in my head. are you suppose to read one person's comments and follow that person's statements? for instance, should i just read what bodie carlyle has to say and only read his parts until i get to the end and then switch to another person's P.O.V.? like i said it is a dumb question but i just wanted some clarification. thank you to anyone who can truly answer my question and not think i am an idiot. so thanks!!

I tried to keep track of characters, but that was hard. I thought...I forget her name, but one of the main characters was a dude until like 50 pages in when Rant and her are, word.
A friend of mine read it without trying to keep track, just reading each passage and ignoring the names, and said that made it cool.
I might read this again over Christmas break, t'was a fun book.
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
Just read it as it is written, that way you'll get the complete picture and understand the novel . At the end each character is important. Respect each point of view and you'll understand the book. Dont ever stop in the middle of a chuck novel the end is the best!
The first time I read it, I just went straight through, but I got confused. So the second time I read it, I kept a sort of "timeline" of each major character based on their statements, then I saw where they differed. But you shouldn't just read one character at a time, because you could mix up their stories.

i think you should just read it as it goes along. with everyone's comments out of order. if you read it the way you're saying then it'll get to a point where one person is talking about something that someone else said earlier and you won't know what the hecks going on.
the way it's written, as each person is talking, they kinda bounce back and forth and answer questions about things that maybe someone else brought up earlier, so it keeps the flow going.
One thing to remember though, is depending on who's talking they might be tainting the story to their perspective, so you'll get different views and ideas on Rant depending on who's talking and you have to put them together how you see fit to see what he's really like.
