I've been meaning to post about this for a while...

I got change the other day from the grocery store, and one of my dollar bills had writing on it:

RANT: (followed by a Bay Area phone number)

Was there some kinda game we started on here writing our phone numbers on dollar bills? Should I call this number? Could I have a dollar bill from one of YOU?!

Rant is one of my favorite Chuck books.

Anyway..to make a long story short.... I'm in switzerland for school and i went to a book store and i saw Rant on the shelf and i just had to buy it..its in german..Actually its called "Das Kainsmal" in German.

I cant wait till I get back to the states and can read it side by side with the english version..its a good way to learn german I guess

I know everybody is in a state of excited anticipation for the next novel in the Rant series, but where do you think Chuck will take it? Personally, I'm hoping for a battle of immortals with Rant, Chester, and Echo on the side of good and Tina, Green Talyor Simms, and Waxman on the side of evil. That would be badass.

Does anybody have any ideas as to why they used Green Taylor Simms field notes as opposed to interviewing him? It says at the end that he is being sought by the police.

In Rant, they have boosted peak technology, and it is stted that this is the only remaining entertainment form. So my questio is, why did somebody make the book, if books have been replaced?

I think that I understand most of Rant, but there is one thing that is really confusing me. Early on in the book, there is a chapter about Rant's mother Irene writing on eggs in wax, and then dipping them in easter dye so that you could see what she wrote. In the city, Rant gives Shot, Echo, and Green, eggs, and he tells them to dip them all in wax when he dies. Echo says that she never dyed hers, because she's afraid of the smell it would make if broken. Green says that the message on his egg was "Fuck you". I understand that because Rant probably knew that Green had raped his mom, but then theres Shot's. Shot's egg says "Green Taylor Simms". Any ideas why?

at the moment i am reading the book and in the german edition you see small symbols (sun and moon)behind the names of people that describe buster. is there some deeper reason behind those?

please tell me what the hell this chapter is about. it all reads like gibberish to me and it seemed like he was talking about a movie i saw before where people recorded exciting events strait from their brains with a thing that goes on your head and then they sell them please help my tiny little mind
