Birth Control, Echo = Grandmother?
Why was Shot (it was Shot, right?) giving Echo birth control so Rant couldn't get her pregnant?
Was Echo just another grandmother in the liminal time of Rant's descendence? If so, wouldn't Simms be the one slipping her the abortion pills?

Isn't Simms the person who was in the car crash with Echo's parents? You sure she's not part of the lineage.
Maybe Simms thought Echo was part of the lineage and caused that crash, but she really wasn't part of the lineage because of the birth control thing.

Yes, Simms is the person in the car crash with Echo when he is 25 and she is 8. He is sent back in time sixty years., she is not. Simms knew who was part of the lineage, that is why he went back to Middleton and started Stoking. I'm pretty sure that the crash was an accident. As for how did Green end up party crashing with the girl that he had crashed into some 80 years back? Only Chuck knows. I'm pretty sure she had nothing to do with Rants family history and Shot was just watching out for her.
Does anyone have any ideas why Simms would wait till the women were well into their old age before killing them? If you're going to off 'em, why not just do it say after 20-30 years, after they've raised the kid and he's full grown?
Excellent question. Maybe for it to look less suspicious. You read my post about Green becoming immortal at the age he was when his mother was offed? Maybe that's why Green is so old? It's all in the "I'm so confused" thread in the Rant forum. As well as some other Rant related questions. We could really use your help over there.
I think that Shot was giving Echo the pills to prevent his own birth from Echo (as his mother) in order to become immortal... Maybe?
You lost me dude. I don't think Echo had anything to do with Rant's descendence. Shot was just giving Echo the morning after pill because he was her friend/cared about her and dindn't want her having Rants baby. If you have evidence that shows anything else, please let me know.
