Who is it actually by?
I have read various other threads about the artwork, discussing what it is and so on, but I'd just like to know who it was that actually did it as I would like to see if they have done any other work.

Glad to help. They really are very cool and unlike anything I've, though I'm by no means an art enthusiast, ever seen before.
Great job to whoever made the decision to put his work on the cover. In my opinion, it's the best cover all Chuck's books, winning out over even the second reprint of Survivor with the plane and gold foil.
It was on the back inside flap that the art is by Jacob Magraw-Mickelson.

He seems to do a lot of really pretty artwork in the same style as the Rant cover. None of the prints on the site are in that syle, though I would consider buying one or two if they were. Perhaps eventually.
