Are rant and waxman the same person?

Well it just occurs to me that no one recognized that Rant/Chet were one in the same and also echo says that Wax killed rant isn't it possible if this is a trilogy that wax and rant could be the same person or in effect brothers of sorts like Simms found someone who would take his advice .

in fact no one recognized that Simms was his father even Simms himself until he saw that rare coin he flipped to Shot .

And granted i aint the brightest peanut in the turd but to say there is no way that could be possible in this novel is a bit narrow minded considering it is about a man going back in time to stop him self and his father from raping his mother and than staying around to raise himself !

but again it could be me i also think your going to find out that Echo died of a heart attack or something simple because on two occasions her high cholesterol is mentioned and the official website lists her as dead. it might just be that simple you never know .
