5/11 BOSTON--rant reading
i'll be here as well as NYC.
take the oppurtunity to visit w/ my big brother, but more importantly, chuck isn't signing in nyc, and i need to speak with the man.....
my bro and one of his goof ball friends is going to the reading with me, but their probably going to hit the bar while i stand in line for signing.
check in here if you want to hit the bars with us......although i'm fairly sure their bars close btwn 1-2am.......
what the hell else is there to do in that town? anyone know any broads in BU?
Why are you bumping a thread that was only one or two from the top?
Anyway, yeah, I'll be there. The ticking is screwy. Two dollar tickets and brookline's website doesn't give any information on where it's held or how to buy tickets, or at least I couldn't find it. I will call them in the next couple of days to see what's up. All I hope is that it's outside or in a grand aquarium. Last tour they only had signings in the bookstore, which was a condensed cluster fuck of people. Actually it was pretty fun. But the mess of the regular shoppers and chuck fans stressed the hell out of the staff.
And yeah, if i can find you, I'll hit some bars.
All right, I'm blind. It's at the Coolidge Corner Theatre.
2 from the top?? i had to go to pg 3 of "active topics" to find it...at least i got to look silly.
anyway, i called the bookstore a few weeks ago, and they let me buy them over the phone w/ a credit card. got them mailed to my house within 3 days.
Ahh, Ok, thanks, calling the bookstore it is. And ahh again, I was thinking about the Rant forum; I forgot about the Active want. :amish:
I'll be there, and there are plenty of places in Boston to drink.

Ah, true. I wasn't thinking of that. Last call at most bars in Boston is 1:30am.

you can order one from st helens bookstore....theres gotta be a link on the site somewhere.
That is true ... I was not even thinking that.... But I could....
anyone know how big the venue is? did they sell tickets for standing room?
think they'll let us in as we show up, or make us line up till like 4 or something?....
what time does everyone think they'll be showing up? i'll hope to arrive IN boston by 1pm, hopefully i won't have to bullshit w/ my brothers woman too long and she'll just drop me at the signing...
so anyone have any ideas for after parties yet?
we could always have a parking lot party....generally, how does the boston PD receive groups drinking on the street outside of such events?
You'd think this was the final rite before sacrifice. Sorry, I don't have answers; I fall into Boston at random intervals. But I haven't been to an event or rally in Boston where the PD really gave a shit, save no one was waving metal pipes and calling their mothers honkies.
Great seeing you Jase.
