So did I. I went to high school on the Upper East Side...so I had drivers ed on the UES and in Harlem.

Actually, you know, New Yorkers boast about how if they can drive in the city, they can drive anywhere, but I tell ya, the country is fucking WEIRD. I mean, yeah, we have better maneuvering skills and reflexes (which have saved my ass in the country, especially at night), but I'm used to a gridlock. Those swerving roads are killer.

I got my drivers license today!
I can drive in both crazy traffic and empty swervy roads!

Well shit, that's something. I hate cars and have no license and have never owned a car, and I hate cars, but even I have driven one.

yeah, well.. the year i should have taken drivers ed i had a broken neck, so that was out. and since then, well, i just havent needed to drive. i have lived in cities or had driving friends. just never learned how. i DOD by a car for someone else to drive me on phish tour, but i never drove.

I don't have a car, because I spend almost all my time in Manhattan...but I do have a license.

Well, shit. No one ever will plan trips to Wyoming.

If you go, you have to go see a Broadway Musical! Please go see Young Frankenstein, it's in previews now, but will be in full swing in Jan. It's playing at the Hilton Theatre, and it is a smash hit. I saw it in Seattle. Mel Brooks did it, so it's got to be good!!!

I'm taking my five hour this month. I still don't know how to back up. i have to practice on a lawn mower. it's cute.

I would recommend Wicked...I read the book, which was great, and I got Orchestra tickets for my girlfriend to the musical on Broadway for Christmas...but then she dumped me...and kept the tickets (in addition to taking back the present she got me). Buuut, she did tell me it was an excellent show.

That one is good too. It's a not as light hearted as Young Frankenstein, but it's pretty frickin' good. Saw it in Denver.

A thought occurred to me as well... they may be arriving at different terminals which could complicate things, hopefully there will be enough of a gap between one flight and the next to make this connection work smoothly. The airtrain goes between them all in a clockwise direction, I'm not sure if you have to get off the loop and back on again if you need to go all the way around... also, i learned to drive in jersey withthe fuck crazy highways and mountains and swerve roads and construction... i drive everyday, and i must say...i am a damn good driver, i tell people i wanna be a racecar driver, and they tell me they can totally see it. that makes mehappy.

hooker- please god carry a sign that says happy hooker... i will totally make out with you if you do. (this is obviously more of a ploy to now get the dudes here to make you carry the sign, seeing as how the make out threat is more for the dudes...)

tom- i also will be taking the subway, that's a lotta culties to cram ina car.
