there's a shitty reception, i've been hung up on twice, and it took about three minutes to find out that i was talking to UbixRex.

I just talked to Jane, Frank, Liz, Ethan, Mark, Moonie, Cindy, Madde, Chelsea and Minuet.

I heard Mark singing and playing the guitar! The reception was awful so there were a lot of "hello, hello"'s going on during the conversations. Parka said, "why does she want to talk to me bout 50 million times before taking the phone and then he hung up on me! Jane is already drunk! Acccording to Minuet, Liz pretty much set up everyone's tents. And Ethan said her cookies rock! I just hearda lot of laughter and revelry going on in the background. It sounds like THE best time. I so wish I could be there!

Cindy is a wonderful women. She's very warm on the phone. I think she just deserves the biggest hugs from everyone there for getting this meet up to really happen.

Yeah, I'm pretty envious. Currently at a lab at UAMS in Little Rock. At some stupid time, like 1 am. My woman is working medical trascriptions and we've finished off about half of a fifth of Jack. We are in the midst of finishing the unpacking from Wednesday's move to the townhouse, but this assignment is due tomorrow and she is trying to get it done asap. Blah. Boo-hoo. Wish I was at the meetup. There's camping involved, which means so does she. We are definitely bout-it-bout-it on the next one. I'll be all about some Mirka waffles. I'll cook the eggs and slice the fruit. My Jen will make the coffee and add the Kalua. And I doubt that we'll need Liz to set our tent up

Oh, to wishful thinking. We'll see how life goes....

I wouldn't mind chatting to a few of the guys, letting them laugh at my accent etc, but international calls are so damn expensive and then there's the pesky time difference. Also, I can't be bothered.

my attempt was mostly thwarted by shitty, shitty reception. we were both in remote locations, sounds like, so that ended up mostly incoherent. i, myself, was driving back from provincetown, so i got a little smartazboy and then some ubikrex and then some more smartazboy, but i had almost NO BARS the entire time, so, you know.

smartazboy called me a few times, but i meissed him, one of the times he called me, it was 7:30 am on Saturday morning. I haven't seen 7:30 am on saturday morning since high school. for detention. that was like 10 years ago, dude. he left some very funny messages, although i think his feelings were hurt at the end. i hope not.

ubik called and left a message about baking blueberry pie. i have sent it to the authorities as evidence of sexual harassment.

for real though, i'm very bummed i missed out on talking to you guys.

i think a countrified setting works better, if for no other reason than it's the cheapest way for a bunch o people to get together. i have always voted for bsoton, but i do not know how realistic it is in term sof cost. i have a very small apartment and one bathroom. five peopel staying here would be a stretch.
