Final headcount for Friday's dinner

i'm still a maybe, there's an AWP thing - so if you want to count me in I'll pay whether i make it or not, and the extra food can go to a hungry broke cultie if i don't

How long do you imagine the dinner will last?! Are there after dinner plans?!

I only ask because I don't imagine I can make dinner, but if you guys imagine you'll be there for a while, I could totally show up late or whatever and just hangout, no food, is that allowed?!

I don't know how long it will last per se...but we get two hours.  I don't know what plans are for afterward.  I'm amazed I even managed to organize this.  If a couple of extra people show up, it's no big deal...they can still eat and we just pay for them after.   They just need as accurate a number as possible in advance so they know how much prep work they're gonna have to do, and have enough seats and whatnot.  And yes, you can come and not have food, too...I think.

I'll be there but I will not be eating BBQ - is that okay?  I want to hang out and visit.  I don't know how this works so I am not sure if they'll let me just hang and maybe order a salad - do you think they'll throw me out?

I doubt they'd throw you out.  I also made an executive decision and made catfish one of the entree choices, even though it wasn't one of the top three choices...since some people don't eat meat.  Would you eat catfish Shana?

Sorry, Tom.  Catfish don't have scales and are, therefore, not kosher.  I told you I was hard to feed.  The kosher rules are kind of complex that way.

I'll just grab something else while I'm there - no problem.  Or is it?

That should be fine Shana.  And yeah, those kosher rules are complex...I just read up on them.  I didn't realize that only 25% of Jews kept kosher.  And I had no idea about the fish without scales thing.

yea i won't be there for dinner, but afterwards if you guys do something i can probably come, unless the show lasts longer.  mel has my number, and i expect her to use it!

eek...i dont know.  i didnt make a contingency plan, so i dont know how it works if multiple people start doing that.  its too late to cancel the package deal without getting penalized, but i dont know if there is like...a minimum number of people that have to do it or whatever...crap.  i told them 15-20 people based on the original thread on this and now im counting eight or nine who are in based on this thread.  hopefully more will come and just havent posted here.
