Drinking With Jane (Oct 20th & weekend)
I was gonna do something cool in the title with the state motto but its "Equality before the law" and I couldn't think of anything for that.
moving on I'm planning on visiting jane and helping her celebrate her 21st birthday. her birthday is officially on October 20th, but I have class on the 21st so I will not make it to Nebraska until that Friday night. I'd ditch class but i have to ditch the week before for a cousins wedding blah blah blah blah come out to Nebraska and go bar hopping with Jane.
Dude, she's 21! There'll be wine and cheese and all the other trappings of new-found maturity.
I'd like to go to this, but I don't think I can make the funds for it that month. Might be one of those last second things I can make happen.
I'm gonna strap the dimes on me feet. I'll be over in about a month.

So far it's looking like Liz, Jeff, Sara, and possibly Maddie. Somebody will be relegated to sleeping on the floor; I suspect Jeff.

Wait...Jane isn't 21 yet? Why was she drinking alcoholic beverages at the meet up then. Drinks I made for her!?!?! Oh man, the guys on the force would be so disappointed in me.

Okay, so plan update:
Jason (yes, yes, yes) said that we could use his house to crash in and make the base of operations, since my apartment is too small and my brother and sis-in-law are moving out of theirs soon. So basically the plan is, you guys arrive @ the house Friday night/Saturday morning, we hug and shriek a lot, then crash til early dinnertime Saturday. At which point my localer friends start showing up, we have dinner, or bar hop, or stay in and wreck everything and annoy the cat, etc. Saturday night play it by ear, basically. Crash again. Chicago crew departs and I nurse a serious hangover.
Liz, I called Maddie last night but got her voicemail; is she planning on riding with you or coming by herself?

I don't know, i think she was planning to drive her self, I can always make a peoria stop on my way out though if she wants to ride with me. her and sara will just have to get cozy in the backseat.

Okay so NEW PLAN update. You guys aren't going straight to Jason's because the plumber is coming that morning, so when you guys roll into town, you'll be going to my house on Friday night/Saturday morning. Then I assumed we'd eat breakfast, crash til midafternoon, then get up and go to Jason's and drink like it's going out of style.
I just came back from his house, where we spent most of the night cleaning. And by cleaning, I mean, I cleaned while Jason drank my beer.
