Anthony Davis Jersey
Hey, I like the NINERS and they're gonna break Steelers BOWL record these next few years
The 49ers will always be an expansion team to me.
On an unrelated tangent, I also reject Walt Disney's The Mighty Ducks Of Anaheim (or whatever they're "Officially Called" this year) as a legitimate NHL team and will forever consider them The World's Most Expensive And Longest-Running Live-Action Children's Film Promotional Device.
Also: This is a thinly-veiled reference to marihuanna.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I'm leaving this thread, but only because Tuffy seems so entertained. ha
The 49ers are my defense team on fantasy football. They haven't done too well, actually.
I would so wear a Mighty Ducks jersey.
DUCKS FLY TOGETHER.
After all these strikes, I'm getting tired of pro sports. The NHL is going through its second lock-out in about five years, NBA just came off a lock-out, NFL just had a work stoppage, and the NFL refs are complaining about getting paid $10,000/ game for a part-time job.
The local news is reporting about the referee strike because of a "blown call" (it might have been a bad call but the defensive back was at fault--any time there is a 'Hail Mary' pass attempt into the end zone, the defensive back's play is to knock the ball down. Green Bay's player was looking for a garbage interception to pad his stats and lost the game for Green Bay. Not the ref's fault). The national media is commenting how, "these games mean too much." And the President of the US even had this to say: “Terrible,” President Barack Obama said about the refereeing fiasco that ended the game as he walked off Marine One following his two-day trip to New York City on Tuesday. “I’ve been saying for months, we gotta get our refs back.” (ny daily news)
It's sports. Who gives a f? It's supposed to be entertainment. A diversion. Not national news.
And during a time when there are wars going on, a recession, terrorist attacks, budget cuts bankrupting states, homeless, poverty, etc. why is our country's leaders worried about steroids in sports? Whether the NCAA should adopt a playoff system? Something seems wrong here.
I still watch (and enjoy watching) sports. I'm tired of the 'all about me' attitude of the players. There are still some great players out there--Derek Jeter and Pat Tillman are the first to come to mind but there are more--but they are overshadowed by the scumbags. I still remember listening to the post-game coverage of the NFC Championship game a couple years ago... The Chicago Bears had just won and were going to the Super Bowl. But all of the discussion centered around if Tank Johnson would be able to travel with the team because he was on house arrest because of gun charges. Now there's someone I can root for and a great role model for the kids. I'm thinking about ditching pro games and rooting for local high school teams.
That being said...
yeah, I don't like the Niners either.
All these pro-ball strikes are incredibly insulting.

Niners suck.
Oh, and by the way,

This is why we can't have nice things.
