Research tips and help...

Hello everybody, I'm new on this forum... I'm Domenico, from Rome, Italy...

The main reason why I joined this community is to find some help and some tips about a research I'm doing for my final high school exam that I'll be having in June/July, which will start from Mr. Chuck Palahniuk. In Italy, for our final oral exam, we have to do an essay and a speech out of it. We have to pick a topic (even something that doesn't involve school or things we've studied) and then connect it to things we've studied during the year. In my case, I decided to start from Chuck's writings and his nihilistic view of society, and then link it to some older american and french writers that feel and write the same way as Chuck, and then end with a philosopher.

What I'd like to know from you is your opinion on which writers (american and french) and philosopher I should include in this research. I don't know if Chuck ever stated some old writers he got inspiration from, that would also be really helpful. Any reading advice is really welcome too!

Thanks in advance to all those who will be able to help me out in some way... I thought there was some way through this website to get in touch with Chuck, but reading the Mail Policy, that sounds pretty hard.
