I need your help! i'm writing a thesis about Chuck...
Hello everybody! My name is Oksana and I'm from Russia. I know it sounds strange, but i should write the Ph.D. thesis about Chuck Palahniuk. Where to start - I don't know why I asking for help. if you have any ideas, suggestions, thoughts ... please respond and write on the forum or PM. this is a very big problem for me, because there is no a constructive criticism of literature on this subject, and it very much needed. I repeat, that the work must be serious, scientific. at the moment i'm working on "Choke" and "Lullaby" ... just has not written a single line of awesome ))).... please help though something!!!thanks in advance.
ideas, suggestions ... anything. in the dissertation, I intend to prove that Palahniuk does not destroy the traditions of the world classical literature, but instead follows them, although in his own way.And that he says about the deep, global problems are not always visible from the first time.
may be, you would suggest what problem to consider, may be worth looking archetypes, something interesting, concerning not only social issues. or you would tell me in which section I can find something useful on my issue.
its very cool that the basis of ur thesis is Palahniuk. I think all modern writing draw their root from "classical literature", so I dont think there any destruction but rather an evolution in Palahniuk's work. Probably you can research on some of his early influences, authors and books he read that shaped the way he writes today. The subject matter he chooses is one reason his stories are so unique.

You could probably try to find a copy of that book of fight club essays that came out a couple years ago. good a place to start as anywhere, i suppose.

I don't know anything about downloading books online. Maybe you can get it for that Kindle?
I think you can send Chuck a letter c/o his agent. I don't recall his exact name at the moment but you should be able to find it somewhere on here. If that doesn't work maybe send it to his publisher.
