pursuing a career as a successful director is not an easy task , so I was wondering if anyone here had any hints or colleges that they could let me in on....

College - Meh. If you can afford to come to LA and go to Film School at USC or UCLA or the like, it might help. It might help more to try to break in somewhere as a PA and learn on the job. Talk to RandomStranger
